Specific services

The Community Listening Service provides 50-minute, 1-1 appointments with NHS trained volunteers. These sessions take place over the telephone and face-to-face in GP practices.

They are for anyone struggling with challenges in their life. This could include bereavement, loss, caring responsibilities, illness, or relationship breakdown. Our volunteers offer a space speak openly without providing direction or advice.

The Listening Service is not best placed to offer crisis support but the I need help now page is for those in need of more urgent support.

Hours available

The service is available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
