Specific services
RSABI provides support to people currently or who were previously involved in the Scottish agricultural industry, including farmers, crofters and farm workers, and their dependents.
We can help with a wide variety of issues and help people going through difficult times including financial, practical and emotional support. We support people who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed or struggling with their mental wellbeing.
Our Freephone Helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year and the number won’t show up on phone bills. For those who would prefer not to talk on the phone initially they can also use our confidential webchat service.
RSABI can provide financial support to help with the cost of counselling sessions. We know that many challenges are unique to agriculture so that’s why we have partnered with counsellors that understand the sector.
You could also request access to our Thrive app. Thrive offers a range of supportive content, including resources on mindfulness, relaxation techniques and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). For those who need further support, in-app therapy is available.
